Gideon Amir, Founder and CEO
|
| Gideon has more than 20 years of experience in the ASIC, EDA and ASSP Development, Marketing and Sales. Gideon founded AST in 1986 as the first independent ASIC Design Center in Israel, later adding the EDA and ASSP lines. A Graduate of the Technion in EE, Gideon served as Reliability and later on as a R&D Engieer at the elite IDF unit that has produced many of the leading Israeli Hi-Tech entrepreneurs. |

After his discharge from the Army, Gideon moved to Silicon Valley and worked as a Design Manager at AMI in Santa Clara, and later as a VP of Engineering at Universal Semiconductor, a Gate Array company. Gideon published numerous technical articles and holds 7 patents in Semiconductor Design and Technology.
Gideon has a MSEE and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, California.

Eli Geva, Chief Operating Officer

| At AST since 1991, Eli has over 18 years of experience in Design, Marketing and Sales. He has been involved in the design of over 100 ASIC’s and has been managing AST’s ASIC Operations for the past 5 years. Eli has an Engineering and Business Administration degrees. |

Tomer Kabakov, VP Sales & Marketing

Tomer brings 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, operations and management experience.
For the last 14 years, Tomer was VP Sales, Marketing & Business Development at Kaisemi, Co-Found and served as VP Sales and as COO at Info-Surge.com. Prior to Info-Surge Tomer was Sales Director at eASIC, Co-Founder at Anacon-semi and Sales manager at Chipx.
Tomer has led and managed the creation of sales organizations worldwide for start-up and established companies, and have led and managed 2 financing rounds for 2 start ups from Israel and the US.

Dahlia Amir, QMS and HR Manager

Dahlia joined AST in 1999. She established the Quality System for the company and is committed to meet all that it stands for. Formerly a Superintendent for the Ministry of Education, Dahlia is a graduate of Tel Aviv University in Languages, and holds a "Masters degree in Administration, Supervision and Higher Education" from the California State University in San Jose.
Dahlia has completed a special training program in planning and implementing a Quality Management System, by MATI, The Standards Institution of Israel.
