MPEG Audio Video MPEG2/MPEG4 Encoder/Decoder Products (VW2000 MPEG 2 A/V Encoder)
The VW2000 is a single chip MPEG-2 compliant video encoder. Its cost effectiveness, superior video quality and simplified interface make it ideal for bandwidth and storage critical networking and digital entertainment applications.
Vweb provides the MPEG-2 A/V Encoder device and a variety of MPEG-2 A/V Express card solutions for video networking applications. Vweb, also, provides 3 reference designs: USB MPEG-2 A/V Capture & Compress reference kit, PCI MPEG-2 A/V Capture & Compress reference kit and PVR MPEG-2 A/V reference kit.

VW2005/2010 MPEG 1, 2, 4 & H.263 A/V Encoder/Decoder
The VW2005 is the world's first MPEG encoder to enable MPEG-4 in interlaced, full-screen (D1) resolution with backwards compatibility to MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and the H.263 video conferencing standard. By incorporating MPEG-4 into the VW2005, Vweb not only supports new digital entertainment applications such as PVR, DVD recording and PC capture, but also enables video transmission over any broadband network for video-on-demand, video streaming, conferencing, and surveillance applications.

VW2010 - MPEG-1, 2 & 4 Encoder/Decoder
The VW2010 is capable of simultaneously encoding and decoding in MPEG-1, 2 & 4 with interlaced, full-screen (D1) resolution and is backwards compatible to the H.263 video conferencing standard. It is the first MPEG-1, 2 & 4 and H.263 chip to include encoding, decoding, transrating and transcoding functionalities on a single chip. The VW2010 can encode and stream QoS-enabled video over wired and wireless networks making it a key enabler of high-growth applications such as streaming media, video-on-demand, video conferencing, surveillance, and digital entertainment. The chip is optimized not only for digital entertainment devices such as digital cable and DSL set-top boxes, PVRs, DVD recorders, video cameras, USB and PCI capture devices but also networking transmission gear such as routers, switches and video servers.
