The family of Astute products includes production silicon, reference designs, a software architecture framework, software and hardware development kits.  These components can be used to address a wide array of product needs for the OEM. 

Astute Networks products include:

• Pericles - Intelligent Protocol Processor, featuring up to 10 Gbps full duplex performance for stateful protocols. Multiple network and storage protocol support - TCP, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SCSI, FCIP or proprietary formats - simultaneously
• SuperHBA- TCP/iSCSI accelerator card and a secure version providing SSL and IPSec security processing.

The SuperHBA family consists of two members:

• The PA1000 Protocol Accelerator – iSCSI and TCP offload is a multi-port gigabit ethernet (GbE) PCI-X card for OEMs, capable of sustaining up to 4 Gbps full duplex throughput while offloading TCP/IP and iSCSI protocols from the main server CPU.
• The SA1000 Secure Protocol Accelerator – IPsec/iSCSI and SSL/TCP acceleration offloads TCP/IP and iSCSI protocols from the server CPU while performing SSL or Ipsec respectively. The SA1000 SuperHBA enables system designers to quickly integrate high performance secure IPsec/iSCSI (initiator and target modes) and SSL/TCP Offload Engine (TOE) capabilities into their network and server equipment.

  Fusiv Family of Chipsets
  Ikanos offers the Fusiv family. These chip sets are high performance Gateway Processors for Access Gateways that deliver secure, cost efficient, "Triple-Play" convergence on a single platform. It utilizes a scalable, programmable architecture enabling seamless deployment of IP voice, data and video services in a secure framework.

  The Vx 160 processor provides an unparalleled integration of ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+, Full Chain Voice Processing, Signaling and Network Protocol Processing on a single chip, targeted at a broad range of ADSL2+ Residential Gateway and SME products. The Vx 160 has an on chip DSP/Voice Engine for handling up to 4 channels of Full-Chain Voice and along with the integrated ADSL2/2+ datapump can be interfaced to a Ikanos ADSL2+ Analog Front End to support "Triple-Play" ADSL2+ Gateways with data, voice and video passthrough capability.

  Analog Devices' Fusiv-VX 200 processor provides an unparalleled integration of Full Chain Voice Processing, Signaling, Network Protocol Processing and Security/Crypto Processing on a single chip. The Vx 200 is targeted at a broad range of Networked Voice/Audio and Bundled Voice/Data Applications. The Vx 200 has an on chip DSP/Voice Engine for handling up to 12 channels of Full-Chain Voice. It can also be combined with external DSPs to add Video processing including Multi-Format Decoding and Encoding for applications such as a IP Set Top Box.
  
  · AT Family - Entry Level ADSL2/2+ Data Gateway
  The Fusiv AT 100/200/300 family of ADSL2 / ADSL2+ Communications Processors. The IKF6501/2 and 3 are a family of highly integrated and cost-effective ADSL2/ADSL2+ datapumps with integrated Fusiv technology-based network processor. Developed for use in gateway, routers and bridge applications, the Fusiv AT family integrates a general-purpose RISC processor and several proprietary accelerator processors to deliver a high-performance network processor along with superior ADSL2/2+ connectivity.
  
  The Fusiv AT100/200 and 300 chipsets comprise the IKF6501/2/3 and the IKE6488 Analog Front End. This chipset combination enables users to achieve the best in ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ performance.
  
  · AT100 - IKF6501
  The Fusiv AT100 represents an introductory level ADSL2/2+ integrated processor supporting single MII (Ethernet) and USB interfaces. Although the Fusiv AT100 can be used with a multi-port Ethernet switch to expand the Ethernet port density, the likeliest applications for the Fusiv AT100 will be single user applications which require the flexibility of USB or Ethernet connectivity. Ikanos offers an innovative approach to meeting your ADSL2/2+ application needs.
  
  · AT200 - IKF6502
  For customers wishing to develop a wireless data router the Fusiv AT200 adds a mini-PCI port to enable WLAN 802.11a/b/g connectivity. Supporting a comprehensive range of 3rd party WLAN solutions the IKF6502 can provide the necessary features to support a WLAN Gateway.
  
  · AT300 - IKF6503
  For customers wishing to develop a full featured Data Gateway, in addition to adding a mini-PCI, the IKF6503 provides the extra connectivity to meet those needs. An additional MII port offers the option to support either a DMZ network or connect to another technology such as Power-line. To support Bluetooth connectivity an extra UART port is also provided on the IKF6503.
  
  · NP Family
  Ikanos' NetPro processor family breaks new ground in level of integration, flexibility, performance, scaleability and cost-effectiveness. NetPro family of devices combine Network Protocol Processing, Security Processing, and Host Processing on a single chip. The NetPro processors are targeted at a broad range of Communications, Networking and Security Applications. NetPro processors combine scaleable security/crypto functionality with wire speed packet forwarding and handling capabilities.   The NP210 combines network protocol processing, security processing and host processing on a single chip. It provides scaleable IPSec security/crypto functionality with wire-speed packet forwarding and handling capabilities. Customers can develop and provide wired VPN / Firewall Data services. The NP210 is used in applications such as wired VPN / Firewall appliances, IPSec VPN-enabled equipment, and Secure Ethernet Routers.

  The NP 220 is a general-purpose Network Processor combining scaleable security functionality with wire-speed packet forwarding and handling capabilities. It provides high speed switching, routing, packet filtering, and firewall functions. The NP220 is used in applications such as wired or wireless Secure Firewall Ethernet Routers.

  NP230 is a highly integrated Network Security Processor with cryptographic accelerators for wired or wireless VPN / Firewall bundled services. It provides high speed switching, routing, packet filtering, firewall, IPSec-based VPN and SSL VPN functions.   · WL100 - IK6700/6701
  WL100 is an integrated Media Access Control (MAC) and Baseband processor (BBP) device for WLAN applications in 2.4 GHz and 5GHz modes. The device complies with the 802.11 a, b, g standards and supports the latest drafts of the 802.11 e and i standards. The WL100 is used to implement WLAN solutions for gateways, routers, access points and station cards.

  Cortina is the first company to offer an integrated 10G/2.5G Multi-Protocol Multi-Port MAC/Framer & XFP/SFP SerDes combining SDH Framer, RPR MAC, 10GE PHY, SerDes and Multiple Mapping Choices.
